Our Bear Programme
phil&teds is a New Zealand manufacturer of childrens products, they are also key sponsors of the Surgical Research Trust.
Each year the New Zealand company donates thousands of phil&teddy bears to help young children get through the emotional stress of surgery.
We know Hospital’s can sometimes be a scary and lonely experience for a child and sometimes having a phil&teddy bear can be used to explain to children the procedure they are to undergo - and is theirs to adopt, name and take home.
The Trust would like to acknowledge Norm Hewitt, Irene Van Dyke, Matthew Cooper and Julie Seymour for donating their time to support the phil&teddy events at Wellington, Hutt, Waikato and Christchurch hospitals.
